Can the planters wart virus transfer the regular wart virus. If that makes sense. In other words, if you have a planters wart on your foot, could you get a wart on your finger from contact?

  1. yes! actually you can get them most places, but they are only called a planters wart when it is on your foot. it is merely the location that determines the name

  2. Found this info for you

Because planters warts are contagious, if you get lesions that spread to other areas of your feet or other parts of the body, you most likely have planters warts.

So I'm taking this as ...... planters warts can spread to other parts of your body...... be careful where you put those feet they could be infesting others.  Most people catch planters warts by walking around barefoot in public areas, such as public showers, locker rooms, swimming pools, tanning salons, etc. Once you’re exposed to the planters warts virus, a small break in the skin allows the pappiloma planters warts virus to enter the body.
