what is up with that? I saw it on National Trust Program for Biddulph Grange Gardens. Why don't the trees die with their roots on top?

  1. pretty interesting!

  2. Trees can live with their roots above their branches, as long as the branches aren't buried in soil and the roots aren't allowed to totally dry out. Looks like an interesting project. I can't wait to check it out!

  3. WOW THATS INTEESTING. ARE YOU SURE THEY WEREN TALKING ABOUT THE UPSIDE DOWN TREE?

THE UPSIDE DOWN TREE IS A BOBAB TREE AND IS CALLED THE UPSIDE DOWN TREE BECAUSE IN THE HEAT OF THE SUMMER IT HAS VERY FEW LEAVES, BUT IN THE WINTER HAS LOTS.

SINCE THIS PLANT IS DORMAT WHEN ALL THE OTHERS ARENT IT STICKS OUT AND LOOKS LIKE THE BRANCHES ARE ROOTS HENCE THE NAME UP UPSIDE DOWN TREE
