Plants and Carbon Dioxide?

Do trees only absord carbon dioxide or do plants do aswell, if plants can, do they only absorb carbon dioxide when they are kept outside?

  1. yes, all plants absorb carbon dioxide (trees are plants too, just big ones :) , and they absorb carbon dioxide from wherever they are kept, as the air inside and outside has carbon dioxide (outside is better for plants as there is more light, which they use with carbon dioxide and water to photosynthesis (to make food))


  2. both trees and plants  absorb carbon dioxide and sunlight for photosynthesis (the process in which plants make their own food).  

    do they only absorb carbon dioxide when they are kept outside?no they can do it anywere because humans breathe out carbon dioxide and plants give out oxygen.
