Plants and hydrochloric acid?

what would happen if a plant was watered with water and hydrochloric acid? would it die? and if not then would it grow faster then a plant with just water? thnx for ur help!!!

  1. Acid will kill most plants and concentrated acid will kill all plants.  It destroys proteins and other compounds that are needed by the plant.
