If they don't have a way....please gimme information about it with your own words. I don't want a website that gets me anoyed... I think I want your own words or a website that gives good information about goldfish with plants. Cuz I want to know how can they don't eat it or they just normaly eating it all. Info...Info...

  1. All plants oxygenate the water and unfortunately goldfish love to eat plants i was researching what plants would go in my tank and i looked at a plant called an anubis it has thick waxy leaves that are less likely to get eaten, we sell them in the aquatics centre where i work but its on a bog wood and costs 13pounds its quite expensive but does last  check ebay for cheaper plants.

I would also try giving them algae wafers which contain plant extracts or at least algae so it might stop them munching on plants as they get the nutrition from somewhere else

    hope this helps

  2. Goldfishes tend to do that. You can't force them to not do it. So I would use fake plants and for oxygen I would use an airpump and airstone. Goodluck!!! =D

  3. Goldfish are little piggies. They will eat almost anything you put in their tank. They especially love anacharis in my experience.  I would try getting some anarcharis for them to eat/be distracted to eat and another plant for oxygen. Anarcharis grows pretty fast. If you are worried about oxygen levels, you can lower the water by an inch so there is more surface agitation. I really hope you have a 80+ gallon tank : \ Goldfish make a lot of waste and one fancy needs 20 gallons and each additional needs 10 gallons. Otherwise they won't have enough room and they will become stunted and be in pain because their spine and organs keep growing but their body doesn't. Best of luck : )

  4. Hm, I would advise you get a different plant that they won't eat.  You can't necessarily make them stop eating the current plant.
