  1. Hi:

Australia is going through the winter months now. It is a great time for you to get your seeds germinating indoors. You can purchase seeds from your local producers and start germinating them inside.

I had a greenhouse and germinated thousands of seeds during  the colder months. I have also started them inside my home. The main goal you want is to have a light weight potting soil. Add some vermiculite and humus. Add some hot tap water to the soil and mix well. The hot water will help the root systems become established.

I will link you to the spices and herb section of my website. There is a page on growing herbs from seeds. This is also a good procedure for flowers and vegetables. I will also link you to the site map, as this page has everything that is on the website. There are many articles, tips and techniques that may give you additional information on. Good luck with growing your seeds, and have a great day!
