  1. yes to the person above me that is correct because I do that with my plants and I notice them more to florish then taking water straight from the tap so if youcan let it stand at room temperature, your plants will say "thank you" :-)

  2. Cold water will shock the root system, making the plant in effect recoil.  Warmer water, ie room temp baths the roots, and does not shock the plant.  It is also best to water at night or very early before the sun is shining, as plants draw water at night and not as effectively during the day.  Plants absorb chlorophyll during the day, and do their water absorption at night while the plant is regenerating.

  3. Do not water with hot or cold water. The water temperature should be between 62 and 72 °F.  In other words water your house plants with water at room temperature, the same temperature that the plant is growing in.  This can be easily accomplished by keeping your water can filled and standing at room temperature before you water.

  4. The ideal water is airiated, room tempurate, and salt free.  Soft water is salty.  I also like Superthrive, it is a good mix of basic nutrients and amino acids, it is not a fertilizer, it comes in a small bottle at the garden center and is very concentrated.

  5. Not every where man.....!

  6. Warm water stimulates them to grow.
