Plasma Donation?

I have given blood free back in high school and a plasma donation when i first started in colgue for extra credit but I was wondering if anoyne knew the website for donateing plasma in denver im only in denver until tuesday so if someone could respond quickly it would be appreciated but i live in okc ok so if you knwo the website and or number for that one it would be help ful as well

  1. You may want to check www.obi.com  that is a major donor center in the OKC and Tulsa, OK areas.  However, due to the risk of giving a patient Transfusion Related Acute Lung Injury, OBI does not allow women to donate plasma.  This problem is rare, but has an increased occurance in plasma from women, especially those who've been pregnant.  OBI's response is to defere female donors to whole blood donations only.  Sorry I don't know the Denver area.  Also, OBI is a volunteer (they don't pay) donor center.
