Plasma TV problem, vertical lines on Daewoo, please help?

I have a 2 year old Daewoo DTS42SP plasma that is now showing multiple Vertical colored lines running from top to bottom, on both left and right sides. I found similar pictures here:

What could be wrong with it? Daewoo has not been adequately answering my inquiries, so can I just buy the replacement parts on eBay and fix it myself? (harhar, but why not). Or should I just sell the unit for parts (if so, can someone please suggest a price as I have no idea how these things go. The TV has no other functional problems or cosmetic defects). Thank you very much.

I think I'd get it fixed....diagnosed at the very least...

I suspect your Video board is bad and needs replaced....Some have bad cables between the video board and the plasma too and that's about a $75 cable....

Video boards generally run around $275 up to $350 for most...

I can tell you one thing for sure....your plasma panel is fine....it's the signal that is messed up....
