Plasma tv. my plasma tv screen turns green now and again, and i have to switch it of for five mins

my plasma tv screen turns green now and again, and i have to switch it of for five mins or more then its fine when it come's back on, some times it will be a week before it does it again and sometimes it does it every few hours. donaldi tried to go to a show i had recorded and the screen went green. it works fine from dvd but it will not from the cable box. everything seems normal but a i am not a electronic person and this is a bummer it is a new right before Christmas tv it is a 40 " aquos
