Plastic Surgery Costa Rica?

I'm considering having cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica, and I'd like feedback from anyone who has had surgery there.

Excellent place to get plastic surgery. Great prices (about a third of the US), excellent service (they will treat you like a person not a number) and comparable if not better surgery techniques.

Plastic Surgeons in Costa Rica are certified in order to practice and they go through med school the same amount of years and with the same level detail.

Some of them even get their plastic surgery specialties from abroad.

Among the well known surgeons are: Dr. Centeno (www.plasticsurgerycr.com), Dr. Pastor (doesn't have a website that I know of) and Dr. Rosenstock (www.cosmetic-cr.com).

Your money would be better spent by going to another country were there are professionals and a bigger population; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; Mexico City, Mexico. But not Costa Rica, that is just outrages.

Lots of Americans, Europeans and lots of other people are visiting Costa Rica just to get a plastic surgery.

Here are some good reason to do it>

1. Cheaper. Costa Rican average price is about 25 to 50% below the US one.

2. Quality. Costa Rican surgeons are as good as the ones in Beverly Hills.

3. Convenience. There are lots of hotels, resorts and more places designed specially for recovery after cosmetic surgery.

4. Air Travel. Tickets between Costa Rica and the US are pretty cheap, with prices between $600 and $1000 (on Continental Airlines).

5. Paradise. After visiting Costa Rica you'll love to go back. It's a beautiful country, it's people, natural resources, etc.
