Plastic bag recycling?

What way can I recycle these?!? Could I take the bags back to the grocery store that i got them from so they can reuse them? LIke meijer bags take them to meijer , kroger to kroger and etc?

Depends what state you live in most stores have a recycle bin for them. If you use a canvas or hemp bag and bring it you can get a nickel off for each one you use. You can also recycle through your local waste company if they take household recycles. Best idea spend a buck for a new hemp bag to pack your groceries and then buy another until you have a half dozen or more. Solves the plastic bag issues and in a year the discount pays for the hemp bags. These bags will last almost forever.

Some grocery stores in my area accept plastic bags for recycling. Maybe near you too. You can also reuse the bags yourself at the stores--even get a reusable cloth bag so you don't end up collecting all those plastic bags to begin with.

You should just be able to take the bag to the store. Here you can take all your plasic bags to Safeway and recylce them (no matter what store they are from). Just ask at your local grocery store. You should also be able to take the to a recylcing center.

Or you can invest in reuseable grocery bags-- most stores carry them.
