Plastic carrier bags...is this a record - or have you had more?

Question

i bought some crockery from Matalan today..they didnt have a box - nor did they have paper or bubble wrap to protect the dishes. SO...i left the store with 30 carrier bags!

i was amazed that in this day & age of protecting the enviroment & recycling..that a big store couldnt do more to help...i wasnt happy..but had no choice!

i think its funny you had the time to count them, in Ireland we have to pay a tax of 15cents everytime we buy a plastic bag and there is more being used now then ever
