Do plastic, rubber, or leather cases for the iPod absorb the most from drops?

  1. The rubber (silicon) cases are very good at absorbing shock. They're kind of bouncy! And the leather cases are very good too. I'm a bigger fan of the leather ones just because I think that they're a little more durable than the rubber ones. Plastic cases are nice because they look really sharp, are easier to slide in a pocket or purse (rubber ones tend to NOT slide), and plastic cases also don't get as dirty, and are the easiest to clean. As far as a source (like you asked), my actual job title is "MP3/Gaming Specialist." I work at a large electronics retailer and I am the expert in those areas. A guru, I suppose :)
