Plastic mask can i make one out of this?

this is a liquid that turns things into plastic i have a foam head and clay that i can sculpt the monsterhead out of if i pour that liquid on it do u think it will turn into a mask or will it trap the clay inside ( id ont want it to trap the clay inside.

  1. For one thing, that stuff is just the catalyst - there should be a bigger jar sold with it - that'd be the actual resin.  Yes, it will stick to the clay and be generally nasty.

    After you've sculpted your head, make a plaster cast of it.  after you've gotten the clay out of the plaster reverse, use vaseline as a release agent by smearing it into the plaster and letting it soak in (wipe the rest away before casting the plastic).

    Mix the resin and catalyst as instructed (tap the side of the mixing bowl with a spoon to work the air bubbles out) and pour it into the plaster.  You may have to slowly rock and roll the plaster to keep the plastic from seeting up too thick in some areas and too thin in others.

    If you had any 'overhangs' on the original, you may have to crack the plaster to get it off.
