Plastic top broke off fuse while trying to remove, how do i get the metal prongs out?

i have a 2003 tahoe, if i matters, and im trying to replace the cigarette lighter fuse. i was trying to pull out a burnt out fuse, and the plastic top came off and the two metal prongs are still in place. how do i get those out?

Use a pair of needle nose pliers with insulated handles.

take the battery cables of the battery and get a apir of needle nose pliers and then take them out then put the cables back on good luck !

Can use a pair of needle nose pliers but when pulling the one metal prong, do not let the the tip of the pliers touch the other metal prong.
