  1. either if you're only going to keep it for a few days.  I like plastic better because I can get a better seal.

  2. what are you saving?

Plastic wrap is good for some foods and not for others.

I only use foil for covering foods in the oven, and I always cover the pan with plastic wrap first.

I try to use re-sealable containers. This saves money and the environment.

  3. Either or it doesn't really matter plastic wrap is clear that's the only plus

  4. If your plate contains anything that might dry out (bread, cooked meat, biscuit, muffin, potatoes, etc.) use plastic wrap so it will cling to your plate.  Use a glass plate, not a plastic one or it wont' stick.

Foil works great for cooking and grilling, not so much in the fridge.  Besides that, foil hides your food since you can't see through it and you may even forget what you had underneath it should the plate get pushed to the back of the fridge.

  5. Foil!!! Plastic makes it sweat!!!! Yuck.

  6. Air is you enemy when considering keeping left overs.  If you wrap it tight with plastic wrap you will increase the life of your food!!

  7. I LIKE FOIL, YOU CAN WASH IT AND USE IT LATER

  8. plastic is not biodegradeable. if you want be a bit greener, keep your meal in ceramic or glass casserole with a lid.

otherwise, uses plastic wrap to wrap the food plate or else put the meal in a tupperware or disposeable rubbermaid container.

  9. Foil is good if you're going to reheat in an oven, but it doesn't form a seal so food spoils faster.  Stretch plastic wrap seals nicely and you can use it in the microwave.  It keeps food fresher longer.  I prefer the latter myself.

  10. I say it depends on what you are going to do with it next.

If it is going into the oven use foil, and plastic for the MW.

Cling film is the cheaper, and a penny saved here can go toward something else if you are budget conscious.

  11. Plastic Wrap. The End.

  12. Plastic, unless the plate is oven safe and you want to stick it in the oven at a later time to reheat. Then foil.
