Is this a good set up for my platy fry, I have 2 preggo females.

10 gallon well planted tank. With a sponge filter, and a heater set to 80F

I have A LOT of dense fake plants, and I made sure almost the whole bottom was covered so when the mom gave birth the fry would be hiding b4 they started swimming, and increase survival chanes. I also have a microworm culture going. Since the ground is covered, im gonna put in a sinking plate covered in microworms for the fry to feed on, would that work? Anything else I should do? These are my first fry since I was 8 with guppy fry, lol!

  1. You've done just about everything you can do and you've certainly done it well. Do you have java moss? That will also increase chances of fry survival since they hide very well in it. Feed the fry 4-6 times a day and you'll be fine, though if you want more to live, remove all adults or put babies in a breeder net.

*Additional* That's great that you have a 10 Gallon for just them. The breeder net option was for you if you had a tight budget.  Good luck and Congratulations
