Play HD-DVD movies in full HD on a 360 with no HDMI?

Just purchased a 46" full hd LCD and am wondering what I need to play HD movies in full HD on those old 360's without hdmi,.

Your games will still go 1080p over component, but movies are copy protected to prevent it. It will put out 1080i over component cables which will be pretty sharp looking. You won't get 1080p, but your TV will probably deinterlace the 1080i60 signal to 1080p30 (1080i being half of the 1080p signal every other frame). You would be hard pressed to see the difference between 1080p and 1080i and that would be only if the TV supported 1080p24.

If your TV has a VGA in (which I doubt) you could use that to get 1080p.
