Play Halo in safe mode?

How do I play games in safe mode on windows XP service pack 2.??

I dont think you can successfully, as safe mode does not fully load a graphics driver, even if you did get it to work you would only have 16 colours, low resolution and it would look awful, why would you want to play it in safe mode anyhow?

EDIT: Sorry i see what you mean, i thought you meant Windows in Safe Mode not the Game, usually to run a game in safe mode you would edit the link to the .exe on the shortcut, try

right click the short cut and go to properties, go to the "Shortcut" tab and where it says target add onto the very end either -safe or -safemode (apply that past the end " mark)

If that doesn't work check your Halo2 Start menu icons there may be a link in there to Halo2 Safe mode.
