Play Station 3 Issues

Hello,

My Sony Playstation 3 will not recognize Games or Movies. The unit is not even a year old. I was playing the game Assasin's Creed and the game froze up. Ever since the system will not recognize any games (PS 1 or PS 2) or any movies.

Can you help?
