Play.com w910i? Can you use your own Sim Card ???

Hello, on play.com it sells a W910i Sony Ericsson phone, i was wondering can you use your own sim card from a previous phone, as it says vodaphone next to it, thank you x.

  1. You should be able to use your own SIM if the phone is unlocked. Chance are that Vodafone has locked the phone so you cannot put in your own SIM card, but what you can do is contact a friend or relative who has Vodafone, and have them call the company to make them unlock it. Vodafone should let you unlock the phone, provided you give them a valid reason (such as international travel).

    If for instance you don't have a friend w/ Vodafone, you can find sites online that will unlock the phone for you. Not free though, for a small nominal charge. All you have to do is give them the IMEI # (found by typing in *#06# ) of your phone. Hope I have helped out.
