Rain delay means Monday finish for Ryder Cup
Good news for people who like bad news; for the first time in its 83 year history, the Ryder Cup will run on until Monday, after this morning's scheduled play was suspended because of heavy rainfall. Play is set to resume at 1:30 this afternoon.
With the rain tipping down earlier this morning, the six matches that began yesterday will conclude today, while the singles matches originally scheduled for this afternoon have now been put back until tomorrow, beginning at 9.05.
