Play of To Kill a Mockingbird? What would Atticus say to Jean if he could see her?

In the play of to kill a mockingbird, the older jean features as the narrator, but others including her younger self would not be able to see her as she is recalling her memory. If Atticus could see her, what would he have said to her?
