  1. Pack N Plays are fine for sleeping.

  2. I use a pack-n-play quite often.  nap time, sleep over at my moms, etc.

    works good for us!

EDIT - as long as he can't climb out (more like "flop" out), yes, it's fine for him to sleep in all night.

  3. Portable crib... my kids lived in theirs whenever we went on vacation or visited someone else's house... theyr're great!

  4. Get a play pen.  It works both ways.  He won't be able to get out and he can still sleep in it.  Make sure you get one that has good padding in it.  If you get one with too thin of padding it will not be comfortable for him.  We have a graco one and it has worked for our 2 kids!!  :)  Good luck!!

  5. My oldest son slept in a pak n play until he was 2yrs 10 months!!!  Then he moved to a full sized bed! lol

    A pak n play is just fine!~

  6. Play pens work great.  I prefer portable cribs because my little guy seems to sleep MUCH better in them. He would wake up all the time in a pack n play and the portable crib he sleeps all through the night, just as if we were at home

  7. Pack and Play is perfectly safe!

I use it all the time when we sleep out.  We will be going to visit grandma next week for 6 weeks and my 5 month old and 17 month old will each be sleeping in a pack and play while we are there!

EDIT:  I also used my pack n play as a bassinet for my babies.  They come with the attachments.

Ans yes, they are OK for them to sleep in all night.  They sell sheets for them aslo.  They are around 10 bucks at Toys r us.
