Playa de Carmen hotel Question?

Question

I am researching several hotels in Playa De Carmen. Anyone been to any of these and if so what do you think?

I am also looking for a hotel near the beach and close to downtown but not in a noisy area. Thanks!

Try Hotel Quinto Sol it is 1 block from the beach and also very close to downtown. It is also one of the cheaper hotels but it is still very nice. Hope you have fun

Grand Coco Bay is a very nice hotel and in a very good location.  Of the hotels you mentioned.....I would suggest Grand Coco Bay.  Gran Porto Real is an excellent beachfront property....as well as Mimi del Mar for a smaller resort close to 5th Avenue.  From what you are saying.....I think you will like Grand Coco Bay or Gran Porto Real.  Mimi del Mar is closer to the noise.
