Playa del carmen Weather?

I will be going to playa del carmen April 8-15 I am watching the weather forecast and its says rain like tue, wed, thur, fri. Now am I going to have a washed up trip or is this like floridas weather. Ya know rain for 5 mins then sunny out. Thanks much I can't wait.

Don't worry about the rain, its over quickly. My wife and I go to the Riviera Maya area every year in early May and have never lost more than one day to the weather.

You got the drill, rain 5 minutes, sun out. It will be in the mid 80's and if it says 20% rain showers, that means 80% sun.

Have a great time, I can't blame you for being excited. Check out the ferry to Cozumel (45 minutes) nice ride and you'll see another island.)
