Playchess.com?

why is it that on playchess.com im still a pawn when i should be a knight since ive played over 200 rated games and have logged in over 2 weeks?

Hmmm not sure, i also play at playchess.com, i think maybe you should upgrade 1st, or did you?

It probably has something to do with how that site is set up.  There are numerous sites where you can play chess if this one is not working out as you would like.  Try some of the other sites.  If you do a search for "free online chess" you will find many links.
