  1. Yes, I used to make play dough but forgot how to make it.

  2. yes i dont have the recipe but they make it every month for the classes try to google it

  3. Recipe:

    1 1/2 c flour, 1/2 c salt, 1 c warm water, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 packet of kool-aid for color and scent.

This is a soft play dough, you might have to add more flour until it gets to the right consistency.  I am a preschool teacher and the children and I make this all the time together.

  4. Cooked Playdough

        3 cups flour

        1.5 cups salt

        6 tsp cream of tarter

        3 tbsp oil

        3 cups water

       1. Dissolve salt in the water.

       2. Pour all ingredients into a large pot.

       3. Stir constantly over medium heat until a ball forms by pulling away from the sides.

       4. Knead the dough mixture until the texture matches playdough (1-2 minutes).

Store in plastic container.  Should last for at least 3 months.

*TIP: If you add vanilla extract to homemade playdough, it helps preserve the dough, prevent mold, and makes it smell nice. Peppermint extract works too. (You can also add your favorite food coloring, if desired).
