Bettor.com rates the Everton players, who were on the end of a shock result against the Royals at the Madejski Stadium.
Everton:
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tim-Howard-c35095: 7/10
The shot stopper could not be blamed for any of the goals his side conceded, however his decision to charge out gave Adam Le Fondre a brilliant chance.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leighton-Baines-c21987: 7/10
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 International did not have much to do in attack , but was a bit relaxed in defence, although Reading did nothing to exploit the space he left behind.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Heitinga-c18862: 6.5/10
The Dutchman kept the Reading strikers out for most the first half, but in the remaining game, he was often left for dead by Le Fondre and Roberts. Could have been punished if Reading were any other team.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Jagielka-c29902: 7/10
The England star might have not been at his very defensive best, but did more than enough to push Everton’s attack. Had a toe poke and a goal line clearance that prevented him from getting on the score sheet.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Hitzlsperger-c34961: 6.5/10
Almost contributed an assist to Jelavic with his superb long range effort as Federici spilled the ball. Was solid in defensive most of the time and was not to blame for the goals that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 conceded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leon-Osman-c22041: 7/10
After receiving his England debut in the last week or so, Osman was on a high as he tried to influence proceedings from the middle of the park with a good range of passing. However, his efforts, though commendable, did not result in a goal.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Pienaar-c34208: 7/10
The South African is usually very impressive on the wing, but was lacking quality and attacking verve going forward and thus wasn’t able to create anything of note during the ninety minutes.
Seamus Coleman: 6.5/10
Had a very mixed outing. Tracked back well and was solid in attack, but was responsible for giving the penalty that ultimately cost Everton three points late in the game. Needs to improve his focus levels.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295: 7/10
The Belgian midfielder played in an attacking midfield role and was effective while creating chances for his teammates. However, he could have done a lot more to influence proceedings and was unlucky not to have found the back of the net after his shot hit
the post.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nikica-Jelavic-c27906: 7/10
Was sharp in attack but never really had a clear cut chance to score and thus remained a frustrated figure at the end of the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Naismith-c34205: 8/10
A performance which showed quality throughout. Naismith put in a tiring display and managed to get himself on the score sheet after pressing Reading emphatically, although he will be very disappointed not to claim three points in the end.
Substitutions:
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bryan-Oviedo-c8179: N/A
The full-back was never given enough time to make his mark and only came on to give Naismith a well deserved rest.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Apostolos-Vellios-c6408: N/A
Like Oviedo, he was a late change, coming on for Hitzlsperger and was never able to influence proceedings in any sort of way.
