The Frenchman faired far better than Rafael as a full-back and looks to have improved on the early form he showcased in the Premier League. Although, he shirked his defensive duties at times, he was a willing attacker and often got in crucial crosses for

The midfielder has been on song for the Reds in the past couple of weeks and showcased his talents with superb precision. Fast yet composed in the centre of the park, the Brazilian netted a scorcher for his side before being withdrawn due to a suspected
injury.

The winger showed his best side against Reading and was influential in carving out chances for his teammates. Although, he had a goal ruled out, his cheeky flick to setup Evra for the cross was a moment to savour for the United fans.
