Player of the tournament thus far...?

In my opinion few players have shone this tournament with the exeption of a few,who are incidentaly all Welsh.

Shane Williams-Can words describe his form this season?All round he's been superb,solid in defense(for a small man),a safe kicking option when needed and a fine stand-in scrum half.His finishing is razor sharp and clinical,turns a game on its head in Wales's favour and when hes not scoring himself hes usually assisting in most of our tries.Legend.

Ryan Jones-4 games captain,4 wins.His ball carrying has been real quality,and until now Wales have been struggling direly withiut a suitable ballcarrier and with Ryan firing on all cylinders we now get that extra edge the forwads need.Also his leadership has been monumental.For a guy with no prior experience as captain he has exelled himself.

Possible Lions captain to come.

Lee Byrne-Where has he come from all of a sudden?Before Gatland took over he was quite average in a Wales shirt but now he's looking world class.Superb.

You mention Lee Byrne and ask where he has came from.....well there was a lot of critical talk of Jenkins not selecting him for the RWC!

I think what you find now is, other players are getting a chance to prove themselves and they are bringing out the best in each other......look how Gavin Henson has played since he has been given the vote of confidence, and that is what it is down to, players having belief and confidence in themselves!

As for player of the tournament..........that is going to be tough call, but you have mentioned the three main contenders in my opinion!
