The Old Lady veteran has stressed that he will always remain a Bianconeri fan, and has wished his fellow teammates the best to take the club to a brighter future.

The Bianconeri legend wrote an open letter on the eve of expiration of his contract with the Turin giants, and reflected his emotions on an array of topics related to him and the club.
Del Piero revealed that he emptied out his locker before going on his vacation, and stressed that the trip to the stadium was a nostalgic moment for him.
The Old Lady striker stated that the memories of the fans and the press crowding around him regardless of the adversity of conditions filed him with emotions emnating from the loving memories.
The Bianconeri veteran went on to state that it is now his turn to thank the fans for their generosity and their unwavering support, and insisted that he will never forget his tenure at the club.
In the open letter to his fans, the 37-year-old said:
“A while ago, before going on vacation, I emptied out my locker at Vinovo and walking out of the training ground I stopped where for many months you waited for me hoping for a photo, an autograph or just a hello... under the snow, the ice, the rain, the burning sun. But this time I am the one saluting and thanking you, just as you did with me.”
The Italian World Cup-winning footballer spent two decades at the Turin giants, scoring more than 200 goals for his team.
Del Piero stressed that the coming and going of players will have little effect on a club like Juventus, and stated that he will continue supporting his teammates like a true fan.
The Bianconeri legend went on to stress that it is the fans that hold the true legacy of the Serie A Champions.
“The players pass by, but Juventus remains. My teammates remain, who I wish the best and will always cheer them on. Above all what remains is the fans, you who are Juventus.” He added.
