Players most likely to leave the Anfield grounds – Part 2
Article Continued from Part 1
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Poulsen-c9114, the 31-year-old Dutch defensive mid-fielder started playing football in 1995 with Holbaek B&IF’s youth academy and after two years in training he made it into the big leagues.
In 1997, he made 80 appearances for Holbaek B&IF and scored 13 goals in the next three years until he got his first transfer deal and moved to Copenhagen at the start of the new millennium where he made 45 appearances and netting just 10 goals.
The Dutch International player’s next move came in 2002 when he was recruited to the squad of Schalke for two years. Poulsen stepped onto the football field to represent Schalke a 111 times and scored just three goals.
Then in 2006 he moved to Sevilla for another two year spell and made 62 appearances with four goals scored. His last two moves came as first the Lady Killers in 2008 and then after yet again two years he moved to English Premier Side club Liverpool in 2010.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Milan-Jovanovic-c25793:
He was signed by the infamous Rafa Benitez and has been on the bench since Kenny took over. Milan is used as a cover player and has been performing poorly.
The Serbian has failed to deliver as a left-winger brought in to add width to the Liverpool attack. Liverpool might actually make a profit out of him, having signed him for free. His likely destination is the Serie A.
He certainly has not lived up to his pre-transfer hype, as his performance is has been quite dismal. Jovanovic cannot seem to regain any sort of competitiveness in his play.
Jovanovic is a 30-year-old Yugoslavian left-winger who can also fill the role of a striker. He started playing football in 1999 and has gone through five clubs in his career. The first being Vojvodina from where he started in 1999. Milan spent four years
here making 43 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
Then his first move came in 2003 when he went to Shakhtar Donetsk for a year and sadly only made six appearances there and scored a single goal. The following year Jovanovic moved to Lokomotiv Moscow where it was even more disappointing as he only made a
single appearance during his entire time spent there. His contribution to the club was minimal, as his performance took a considerable turn downward.
In 2006 the Yugoslavian moved to Standard Liege and found some pace as in the four years he made 116 appearances while managing to score 52 goals in the process. Jovanovic regained some form and performed at a much higher level as he quickened his playing
style.
His last move came with the English Premier League club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and since then the Serbian has only been showcased 10 times and is yet to score even a single goal.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Ngog:
His Liverpool exit was all but confirmed when the club signed Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll in the January transfer market. He has been warming the bench before and he is still currently warming the bench.
Liverpool can use the proceeds from his sale to buy a quality cover for the two strikers. However, with the imminent return of Pacheco from loan, Liverpool might not even need that.
