  1. The west coast eagles younger players have stepped up so so much! With almost all the senior players out - they have had to step up and fill the big hole that the senior players have left.

Ben Mckinley & Josh Kennedy  have been so powerful within the forward line really stepping up in just their first year of actually playing afl (mckinely was on the eagles lists for about 2 years beforehand and finally got his chance this year and kennedy played with carlton but not with west coast) mckinley  has been kicking bags of seven, five & four goals, and kennedy has been a good runner and has contributed widely to the score board really stepping up to ensure that the eagles forward line does not fail.

beau wilkes & eric mckenzie never fail in the eagles backline providing a key target to ensuring that opposing players dont kick big bags of goals..

Ryan Davis, Tim Houlihan, Jamie Mcnamara, Steven Armstrong, Brad Ebert, Scott Selwood - are all guns in the midfield and have stepped up immensely to fill in the whole that ben cousins and chris judd have left and have also helped out while daniel kerr has been out with injury - well done boys!

some of the senior players at west coast also - such as quinten lynch, dean cox, adam selwood & matty priddis - lynch going into the midfield and getting himself a couple of brownlow votes, cox in all australian ruckman form, selwood working hard in the midfield as does priddis.

all of the eagles players have stepped up wether playing their 8th or 80th game they have tried hard and played well.

sorry if ive missed any obvious ones that have slipped my mind, oh and michael braun has stepped up in times of need! as has embley - shows he is fighting to get back into his norm smith medal form and get back into the leadership group!!

    go the eagles!!

  2. I know its not all about Collingwood, but Harry O'Brien has just come from nowhere and shined this past month - what an awesome defender he has turned out to be..

  3. WOW!!  I would talk about eagles but it seems that has already been done!

  4. i think travis cloke he has kicked 9 or 10 in the last 2 weeks and has got a lot of possesions

  5. Hale of the Kangas, he has improved out of sight

  6. Vince, van Berlo, and Bock from the adelaide crows have stepped up this year. oh and Porplyzia

  7. Well, I always pay closer attention to my club, and in the past few games Trav Cloke has really stepped up, and boosted our forwards line. He has taken some great marks.

From other teams, I think that many of the Richmond players have stood up, and played some great footy.

Oh an Hale from the Kangaroos played a great game against the Cats.

  8. van Berlo of the Crows has really jumped out of the ground.

I think he has been the most noticable player to step up in recent months.

  9. David hale, Ben ross and Gavin urquhart have been freaking awesome for the kangas, but i also reckon Tom Lonergan from Geelong has been such a turnaround this year.

    CARN THE KANGAS!!!!!!!

  10. Andrew Mackie from the Cats has stepped up this year. He can play anywhere on the ground and always uses the ball well. When will opposition teams man him up when he drifts forward?
