Although the summer transfer market has recently ended, Ligue 1 clubs are still worried about losing out on a few players in the winter transfer market due to various reasons
The January transfer window is still far away but rumours have already started flying regarding a few Ligue 1 players. Many players, who failed to secure moves away from their respective sides, could have a chance of leaving them this winter. Furthermore,
clubs might sell those players whose contracts expire next year in order to get some cash for them.
Bettor.com now takes a look at few of the players who might bid Au Revoir to their current clubs come the January transfer window.
Nene
Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Position: Winger
Nationality: Brazilian
The Brazilian’s excellent form last season was one of the main reasons why Paris Saint-Germain were able to make a long-awaited return to Champions League football. Since his arrival at Parc des Princes from AS Monaco in the summer of 2010, the winger has
always been an integral player for his side.
However, the arrival of the Qataris and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 mean that Nene is no longer the undisputed player that he was in the
last two seasons.
Often criticised for being too individualistic and prone to an odd moment of madness or two, Nene might not have a future in the new-look PSG side. Furthermore, at the age of 31 Ancelotti might not really see him as a player who would win his side titles
so a move away from the Parc in January could be on the cards.
The winger’s contract is set to expire next year and so far, an extension has not been offered which means that Nene could move away from the club.
Lisandro Lopez
Club: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130
Position: Striker
Nationality: Argentine
The former Porto striker has started his fourth year at Olympique Lyonnais and has become a real crowd favourite. A loyal player, ‘Licha’ has always maintained that he wants to stay at the club for long despite being fully aware of the fact that Lyon don
not have the financial means to assemble a great squad like they used to a few years ago.
At the age of 29, Lopez is in the form of his life and commands a great transfer price which might force Jean-Michel Aulas to consider selling one of his brightest stars. Italian Serie A side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/ACF-Fiorentina-c38209 are keen on signing the Argentine international
this January.
La Viola have indeed a soft spot for the Rafael Obligado native but it might not be possible to snatch the star striker away from the place where he says he is having the time of his life.
Nicolas N’Koulou
Club: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127
Position: Defender
Nationality: Cameroonian
At the age of 22, Nicolas N’Koulou has shown maturity beyond his years. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 international was snapped up by Les Phoceens last summer from AS Monaco. Since his arrival at the Stade Velodrome, the native of Yaoundé has developed into one of the best
centre-backs in the country.
And, the youngster’s performances have been keenly monitored by Italian Serie A side AC Milan who have been following the player from the days when he started out as a raw talent at Monaco.  Although Marseille would not want to separate themselves from an
important player in the January transfer window, the cash that Milan could have on offer, might make Labrune and co reconsider their stance on a player who clearly has a great future ahead of him.
