With Didier Deschamps set to manage the France national side for the next two years, it is expected that a few players will get enough chances to prove their worth in the Les Bleus colours
The departure of Laurent Blanc as the manager of France national team saw the appointment of his former teammate, Didier Deschamps. The native of Bayonne has taken reins of the national side for the next two years and it is clear that there will be a lot
of players who will be given an ample amount of chances to impress.
Didier Deschamps had already selected LOSC Lille captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899’s Euro 2012 campaign.
There will be some players who will be walking on a tight rope under Deschamps’ watch. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 and Ben Arfa had their respective disciplinary issues at the Euros. Ben Arfa and Nasri never really enjoyed the best of relationships
with the former Marseille manager and it is very likely that they will not be dished out chances after chances after their misdemeanours.
However, there are a few players who have always slipped off the national team radar for mysterious reasons.
The first name that crops up in mind is Lille midfielder and captain Rio Mavuba. The last time the 28-year-old played for Les Bleus was way back in 2006 and the former Bordeaux man has been recalled to the national team by Didier Deschamps.
In the last few years, Mavuba has put in a string of excellent performances for Les Dogues. Despite being one of the most consistent players in France for the past two years, Mavuba was always ignored by previous France managers.
However, things will be different this time around under Deschamps as the former World Cup winner is going to give the Lille ace a lot of chances to impress.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marvin-Martin-c24496 is another player who has never been given a huge shot at the national team but after making a switch to Lille this summer, the Frenchman is bound to get enough opportunities to prove his worth to Deschamps.
Another Lille player, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitri-Payet-c11276 will get a lot of chances too considering the fact that the former Saint-Etienne man made a strong finish to the last campaign and if he continues to perform well for Rudi Garcia’s side, he will be given a chance to impress.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steve-Mandanda-c34177 has struggled to establish himself as France’s number one. However, Deschamps, who managed the custodian during his time at Marseille, will consider giving the Zaire-born goalkeeper a few chances
every now and then.
