Playing Anime (.avi) on a Mac OS X, iBook G4 Laptop?

My wife has an Apple iBook and wants to play the newer episodes of Naruto and Bleach from Dattebayo.com. However, they changed their encoding and her playing isn't working properly. I don't know anything about Macs...

What player is best? Does she need to download codecs?

Please advise.

  1. Try installing Flip4Mac (if you don't already have it) and VLC. .avi files should play in VLC.
