If you listen to Mr Brightside, Ronnie opens the high-hats on the verses in very odd places, almost as he is hitting the snare (on the 16th note groove) I wondered does anyone know if he moves his hands differently or what timing he opens the hi-hat at or where in the 16th note to get this great sound. Thanks for any help you can give

  1. i think you need help not being a total faggetcocksucker...killers suck and apparently so do you...!!!

  2. After the previous delightful response I can't imagine I have anything to add, but, having listened to the song, I have to say that the opening of the hihats doesn't seem particularly peculiar.  Almost the whole thing is in 16s, so both hands are on the hihats anyway, I reckon you just need to get used to lifting your left foot as your left hand comes down, it just needs practise, rather than any special technique.
