Gautam Gambhir, the Indian Test opener, believes that playing against Pakistan or any other opposition does not make a difference to him as he just concentrates on representing his country, rather than thinking about the other team.
The left-handed batsman recently led Kolkata Knight Riders to their first-ever title triumph in the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Most of the players from the neighbouring countries believe that Indo-Pak competitions get the best out of a player but Gambhir is an exception as he does not take the Green Shirts any differently than other sides.
Gambhir expressed, "For me, Pakistan is no different from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754. The main thing is that you are playing for your country and that in itself is a big motivation."
The 30-year-old claimed that the Indian team has a great dressing room atmosphere these days and every individual is given equal importance.
The left-handed opener mentioned, "There are no seniors or juniors in the Indian team. Everyone is equal in a team. If you are playing for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, you have to take the responsibility.”

batsmen of the modern-day sport, vows that his team will regain the top ranking very soon.
"This break from cricket will act as a positive for us. We will be able to come back fresh with better fitness. We have the talent and we have to get back to No 1 ranking in Tests," he added.
