Playing of midi files

I have been using the PLayMusic program for several years but since installing XP my midi files are now produced by the windows media player but PLayMusic does not recognise them. How can I now convert the file to be acceptable by PlayMusic? Ken Thiis kenat44thiis@talktalk.net
