i never did understand, if someone matches up to play a game or a set, if they loose and realize your better than them, they got nuts alot? especially when they think they got you trapped. my 1st experience with this was about 15 years ago, over a race to 3, for $5 lol. the guy went nuts on me, and i won 3 to 2 at the local bar, and he was an out of towner, there 4 the weekend tourny. i hear alot of this, and can't understand why if someone thinks they have the nuts in the heads up, and cockey, and looses they can't handle it, and wants to fight?

  1. Most " Sore Losers" are really mad at them-selves more than at the winner because of some silly mistake they made to lose in the first place

Plus there is no shortage of egos in a pool-room And they just cant belive they lost

  2. I have played a lot of pool in Australia and you do get people taking the games incredibly seriously.  I have had difficult circumstances when I have beaten a player and there was not even any money at stake.  I believe many people derive a lot of self-esteem from the game.  Thus when they get beaten there r aggravated to the extent that they want to fight.

  3. It does suck to lose, but it happens to everybody, no one wins them all. People just need to suck it up, and play harder next time.

  4. I have seen it several times myself. It is just stupid and when I loose I may get mad at myself but not the other player. Sadly in pool there are many players who are too cocky for their own good and it cost them sometimes
