Question

how can i mezorize my songs on paper?

for exaple a grunge song that has 2 chords that reapet during the verse, and a solo

what do i have to do?

can i wrtie down the verse with the chords on top, and then for a solo, can i write it down in tabs?

(i can read tabs, chords too)

tabs are easiest.

I find that chords are pretty easy to remember, so I usually have the solo in tab and just practice the solo. When you get the solo down, you can learn the chords quick in any notation. If there are two chords it is easy enough to learn them later as long as you know the general area and way your fingers are placed. The important thing is to get the solo completely memorized so that you will never forget it.
