The Catalan tactician has taken out time to send out a message to the Special One, suggesting that it takes courage to give young players a chance to play in the senior team.

Barcelona head coach, Tito Vilanova, has asserted that to take the risk of fielding youth players is something that takes a lot of guts.
The tactician used the moment to take a jibe at Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, who had recently claimed that playing the youth is a bit perilous at the moment.
Vilanova suggested that the nine-time European champions are not brave enough to give their youth a chance to shine at the big stage. However, he asserted that he does want to comment about the situation regarding youth players at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mourinho was recently brought under scrutiny for his over reliance over senior players or players brought over from other clubs. The fact that Los Blancos hardly ever try out new players was something that proved to be an issue for the management at the
Spanish capital.
It is quite rare for Madrid’s youth academy to produce a player who becomes an important member of the Merengues squad.
In addition to this, even the players who have managed to attract attention due to their talent are hardly ever tried in important games and do not get a significant amount of playing time.
At being questioned, Mourinho maintained that the youth academy does not produce world class players along with asserting that the team are not in a position to take risks and try new players.
Nevertheless, Vilanova has signified that this shows the lack of courage at the current champions of the Spanish La Liga.
While talking to reporters, the Catalan mentor was quoted as saying:
"Controversy in Madrid about lack of academy players? I only know how we work. It's also a matter of courage to give them chances. Alexis is doing what I ask of him. If he doesn't reach the level we expect, it will also be because I cannot get the best out
of him.”
"Nobody will leave in January. We have six attackers, all give us something different, and that's perfect. We want to keep them all."
