Playlist not on iTunes list but still on iPod

I have deleted a playlist via my management system of my nano on iTunes. It shows the list gone. But it still shows up on the physical iPod and it's eating up space. How do I delete it from my iPod?

If you set your iPod to sync to iTunes, that should do it.  If not, try to restore your iPod, then reload everything.
