Do you remember the Childrens TV programme "Playschool"..Do you remember the names of the characters??

I do remember the show, and some of the characters were Johnny Ball, Simon Davies, Julie Stevens, Toni Arthur, Fred Harris, and Carol Chell. Those are just some (if it's the same show i am thinking of).

I'm not sure if this is the programme you mean, but it's still going in Australia.  SOme of the characters include Big and Little Ted, Jemima, Hamble, Diddle the cat and there were more but it's been a long time.  Hope this helps

Brian Cant also appeared on it.  A school friend of mine did a few appearances his name is Ben Thomas and he was around in the late 1970's
