Playstation 1 memory card..

I was just wondering would a playstation 1 memory card bought in the US work in a european playstation model?? or do i need to buy a memory card form europe.

I have started playing all my old playstation 1 games again but some cant be saved on a playstation 2 memory card.

you can put your memory card inside the slot of the ps2 only to save your games to the memory card for the ps1 ps1 games can never ever be saved on a ps2 memory cards ever :) ava
