Playstation 2 problem III: The Problem found?

I think i found the problem: The fan at the back dosn't seem to work when I play and the PS2, (which is slimline), is very hot after it switchs itself off.

Dr Barneys analisis: OVERHEATING

Am I correct? What should I do?
