Playstation 2 problems

what i shouldn't have said is that my ps2 just flat out won't turn on, should i try to fix it or get a new one?

return it to the place you got it from and and youll get your money back (you have to have the reciept)

if you have a slim ps2 get a new one there cheap

but if you have the original than get it fixed

i had a ps2 and it wouldnt turn on either. i found out its alot easier and cheaper to buy a new one,because really, people will say they can fix it but it will eventually need fixing again so suggest you buy a new one.

First of all are all the plugs secure? that could be the reason or if your plug to ur ps2 is plugged into a extension is the extension turned on? does it have like a switch on it or something? are the 3 wires plugged in correctly? if non of those are the case then you probably want to go back to where you got it and go to customer service and tell them your problem.

take it apart and see if you can connect some wires together or change a resistor or put a few diodes in.  that should do the trick.
