Playstation 3 broken with lost receipt

Question

Its still under warranty but my dumb step mom lost the receipt. I bought it at Walmart about 7 months ago, i called them to see if i could recover the receipt somehow but they said no. Anything I can do?

I had the same problem,only with gamestop.

They said their computers only go back 30 days,but gave me their custormer service number.

they were able to send me a duplicate receipt.

Try this with Walmart .

Keep in mind when you send your console to Sony,you will not get the same one back.It will be a replacement with a 90 day warranty.

Also,if you have no luck with getting a receipt,you can opt for Sony to fix it.

It should be about $150,from what I gathered from my investigations.

dude it is your for ever it is broke in with out the receipt no one will help you just throw it in the trash in get another one that is just life you break it in pay the price in for all the people with this free ps3 and xbox 360 it is true but you have to get the silver and gold package which you will have to use your credit card in still have to buy there product you did not know i knew this right well i do this guy is asking about his broke ps3 in lost receipt in i think he does not care about your answer about a free ps3 your answer does not apply to his question ever in you can get reported for it this is called spam what you are given for your answer :) ava

How did it break? But ya you can call up sony themselves. Ask them to bring it up on file. Which they can. They bring it up you give the required information. Then they will send you stuff which will take a day. Then you send it in in a box they send to you. Easy process they will send you a brand new one if they can not fix it. How did it break though?
